• Not a true moss, but a type of lycophyte, the oldest living vascular plants
• Low-growing, shrub-like tropical plant
• Light green, scaly, coarse foliage with lighter yellow-green tips that grow out instead of up

Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant: Selaginellas can do well as a houseplant as long as the humidity is not too low, as they appreciate high humidity. Their small foliage makes them a great candidate for container gardens as well, again, only if it is kept humid enough.
