That has a consequential drive for immediacy and then the need for expediency. Then in extension becomes one of the incentives for drug use. Those unseen imperatives have the capacity to govern our culture and political decision making. Which can potentially skew clinical observation, statistical and critical analysis. Distorting diagnosis, setting up and supporting the dependency on computers, “pills”, and what is becoming a cultural denial of consequence, in that need for expediency.
